The HP 3764A digital transmission analyzer analyzes the error performance of digital transmission systems. It is available in three different versions to cover a wide range of telecom and general-purpose test applications. Each one features pattern generation and error detection at coded and binary interfaces, and an HP-IB port for remote control operation.

  • Standard: A dedicated 140 Mb/s digital transmission analyzer with pattern generation, error detection, and error analysis. The error analysis includes error performance measurements for testing ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Networks)
  • Multiple frequency: Option 001 - Measurement at the four main CEPT bit-rates of 2, 8, 34, and 140 Mb/s. This reduces the number of test sets required in multiple frequency environments. This rugged option is ideal for field installation and maintenance applications
  • Jitter: Option 002 - Jitter generation and timing jitter measurement at 140 Mb/s, ideal for development and manufacturing applications
