The 3437A System Voltmeter is a microprocessor controlled 3 1/2-digit successive approximation System Voltmeter. It offers three DC floating input ranges: 0.1 V ??(0.06% + 2.2-digits), 1.0 V ??(0.03% + 2-digits) and 10.0 V ??(0.05 + 2-digits) full scale with a maximum display of quot;1999.quot; Sample (up to 5700/s) and Hold allows the 3437A to be an instantaneous reading voltmeter. The trigger delay can be set from 0.1 ??s to 1.0 second and the number of readings can be set from 0 to 9999 readings. Also provides external trigger capabilities which can be delayed from 0 to 1 Sec in 100 nS steps. The 3437A will provide years of dependable service, it#039;s easy to use and can be programmed from the front-panel or HP-IB interface.

The HP 3437A is a microprocessor controlled 3½ digit, successive approximation system voltmeter, capable of sampling voltages at rates up to 5700 samples per second.

Chassis isolated input terminals, a wideband input amplifier, auto-zero, auto-polarity, sample and hold, and 100% overrange on each of the input voltage ranges (0.1 volt, 1 volt, and 10 volts) provide floating measurement capability (± 20 V) over the frequency range of DC through 1.0 MHz.

The HP-IB interface is standard. All front panel functions are programmable. The Binary Program mode lets you program the 3437A using an abbreviated program code.
