The 37900D is a test set for troubleshooting signaling problems, and for ensuring network conformance and compatibility.

The 37900D can be used to continuously monitor protocol links in real-time - providing decode displays while monitoring. It can optionally monitor up to four bidirectional links simultaneously. It also provides post-monitoring analysis using triggers, filters, and traces.

The 37900D offers an optional emulation package as well as many pre-programmed application packages.

The emulation package lets the 37900D perform conformance, compatibility, and regression or acceptance tests as a single test or as a sequence of up to eight simultaneous signaling links.
