The HP 44712A is a 48-channel high-speed FET multiplexer that directly multiplexes voltage, resistance, thermocouples, and strain gages. The 44712A maximizes measurement throughput and increases system reliability.

  • Maximum switch rates: 5500 channels/second from back-plane, 100000 channels/second from ribbon cable
  • Up to six (eight with extender) high-speed FET multiplexers can be controlled through the ribbon cable
  • 48-channel multiplexers provide lower costs per channel via single-ended multiplexing. This means, however, no common mode noise rejection
