The HP 44710A FET MUX is used to switch (multiplex) signals from up to 20 channels for measurement by the 3852A voltmeter accessories or by external voltmeters. This accessory is designed to perform high-speed switching of low signal-level devices wit input voltages less than 1024 VDC or 7.24 VACrms  (10.24 Vpeak). The 20 channels can be switched at speeds up to 600 channels per second using a 3852A accessory. The 44710A also has thermocouple compensation for temperature measurements.
