The M526 is a dual channel USB oscilloscope compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interface. The ease of installation and connection to computer makes M526 extremely portable. The device is connected to the computer using standard USB 2.0 cable and is powered directly from computer. The maximum power consumption of 2.25W makes this instrument highly usable with battery-powered notebooks.
The device inputs are accessible via BNC connectors and are compatible with standard probes (with minimum of 32 pF compensation range). Internal storage (8K per channel) is used as a fast data buffer to store a measured waveform.
The software is the part of the M526 package. In order to keep the device functions up to date, the latest version of the software is available on our website free of charge. The software lets you fully operate the device. All standard features of modern DSOs are available (hold acquisition process, hold-off, zoom etc.) and many more (saving/loading the waveforms for future use, export to clipboard, printing the results together with scope settings).
The fast data transfer offers extremely rapid display refresh (creating an impression of analog instrument).
Four standard acquisition modes (AUTO, NORMAL, SINGLE, MANUAL) are available. The trigger event is created by dual level triggering system equipped with digital pulse length filter and event counter on each level. Channel A, channel B, and the external trigger input can be activated as a triggering system source. The threshold of the channel A and the channel B trigger is settable in the whole range of the scope screen. The threshold of the external trigger is fixed to about 1.5V and is TTL and CMOS compatible. This sophisticated triggering system allows the display of waveforms with very complicated trigger events (i.e. selected row of the video signal).
The time base in 1:1 display mode (no zoom) is settable from 2ns/div to 100ms/div in sequence of 1-2-5. It is possible to set the time base from 200ps/div to 1.6s/div using different zoom settings.
A printed installation guide and a detailed user’s guide on CD are part of the M526 package. The tool tip help makes the software easy to use.
The software is supported on the Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems. The oscilloscope screen can be resized according to your monitor resolution (minimum 800x600).
The spectrum analyzer software is part of the basic package. It analyzes signals on channel A and displays its frequency spectrum.
Two optional software packages are available: the M520 Development kit, which will allow you to write your own application using the device and the M520 Roll mode, which will convert the oscilloscope into a data logger.
