National Instruments cDAQ-9171 CompactDAQ Chassis
The cDAQ-9171 (Part Number: 781425-01) is a bus-fueled CompactDAQ Chassis, intended for small and convenient sensor estimation frameworks. The instrument gives the straightforwardness of quick association (plug-and-play) of USB to its electrical and sensor estimations. This CompactDAQ also controls the planning, synchronization, and information exchange between the C Series I/O modules and an outside server. The user can utilize this suspension with a blend of C Series I/O modules to perform different estimations of simple I/O, computerized I/O, and counter/clock. The cDAQ-9171 National Instruments has four 32-bit universally useful clocks/counters that can be reached through an equipment planned, C Series computerized module in applications that utilize quadrature encoders, pulse width estimations, event counting, pulse train generation, and period or frequency estimations. The cDAQ framework is comprised of three parts: C Series module(s), the STC3, and the cDAQ module interface. These parts digitize signals, perform D/A transformations to create analog output signals, measure and control computerized I/O signals, and offer signal conditioning. The device has a USB 2.0 hi-speed bus connector, and has a timing resolution of 12.5 ns.
The NI cDAQ-9171 1-slot USB Chassis supports over 60 sensor-specific I/O modules with integrated signal conditioning. This USB Chassis allows the user to run as many as six hardware-timed analog I/O, digital I/O, or counter/timer operations at the same time. The number of channels the NI cDAQ-9171 can support, the sample rate, and several other specifications are based on the C Series module used with the Chassis. The NI cDAQ 9171 USB Chassis has the capability to be mounted to a panel, wall, or a DIN rail. The optional rack mounting kits can be purchased separately. When mounted, the cDAQ Chassis should not be stacked. This model is run using the NI-DAQmx driver software which is compatible with software packages like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, or Measurement Studio.
The NI device weighs 12.5 oz, and measures 5.17 x 3.49 x 1.31 in. in physical dimensions. It has a power consumption of 500 mA maximum at 5 V, a recommended operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C, and a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C. Additional specifications for the cDAQ-9171 can be found in the manuals and datasheets under the "Manuals & PDFs" tab.
