The Tektronix 7B85 delaying time base plug-in unit forms a complete oscilloscope system together with a 7700, 7800, or 7900 Series oscilloscope mainframe and a 7A Series amplifier.

  • Trigger holdoff time: ≤2x TIME/DIV setting, or ≤2.0 µs (depending on holdoff setting)
  • Variable holdoff range: For sweep rates of 20 ms/div or faster, extends the holdoff time through at least two sweep lengths

  • AC coupling: 30 Hz to 50 MHz on minimum signals of 0.3 div internal, 50 mV external; 50 MHz to 400 MHz on minimum signals of 1.5 div internal, 250 mV external
  • AC LF REJ: Rejects dc and attenuates low frequency signals below ~30 kHz
  • AC HF REJ: Rejects dc and passes all low frequency signals between ~30 Hz and 50 kHz. Signals outside this range are attenuated
