Frequency Response AnalyzerThe 1250 series of FrequencyResponse Analyzers (FRA) provide arange of accurate solutions for themeasurement of gain and phase.The device under test is stimulated bya sinewave and the response analyzedat one, two or more points in thesystem. These responses are thencorrelated with the stimulus todetermine the amplitude and phaserelative to the generator. The ratio ofthe two measured signals can then beused to provide the system transferfunction.This process rejects all harmonics and,by increasing the integration time,even signals which are buried in noisecan be measured accurately.The 300V range on the 1250 series isparticularly useful for makingmeasurements on fuel cell stacks andhigh voltage batteries, used in hybridvehicles and residential power supplies.
