The 1250 FRA measures the gain and phase characteristics of the system under test, when stimulated by a known sinusoid. Ease of use is provided by the touch-sensitive front panel keys. Many advanced features are incorporated, making full use of microprocessor technology.

Standard interfaces allow full remote control. Readings can be stored for future processing or fed to external recording devices. The instrument can be either freestanding or rack-mounted. Diagrams showing the front and rear panels are shown at the end of this Chapter.
